Individual health insurance plans with coverage in Illinois are available through various sources.

U.S. Students Looking for Individual Health Insurance

International Student Health Insurance

Wheaton requires students studying at the College on an  F-1 Visa to be enrolled in an accident and illness plan.  The plan will be effective August 1, 2024 to July 31, 2025. Enrollment is automatic so no action is required by the student. For information about the current plan, please go to Lewermark Student Insurance website. Students with medical needs that could exceed the benefits of the plan may be eligible to waive out of the plan.  For questions about enrollment or billing, please email health.insurance@wheaton.edu.

If you have general insurance questions, please e-mail them to health.insurance@wheaton.edu.

Voluntary insurance plans are available to Wheaton College students and their family members. Insurance is offered by Delta Dental of Illinois, Teladoc, and Chubb. These plans are available for a duration of either 6 or 12-months. Visit wheaton.studentbenefitplans.com.
