Parents,

The following message was sent to students earlier today:

Dear Students,

As we plan for the next academic year, we wish to inform you that Wheaton College expects to return to fully residential programming with students living on campus and studying in person throughout the 2021-2022 academic year.

Our fall calendar reflects our normal start dates with Orientation beginning on August 18 and the first day of classes held on August 25, 2021. We will share more information about co-curricular activities and any COVID-related protocols as we get closer to the fall.

Pursuant to the American with Disabilities Act of 1990, we will provide proper accommodations for students with diagnosed health risks and compromised immune systems, including due to COVID-19.

We will continue to monitor State of Illinois guidance as well as any updates provided by the Center for Disease Control. However, as our world moves toward a post-COVID situation with the mass distribution of vaccines, we plan to welcome back all students for the start of the 2021-2022 school year.

Grace and peace,

COVID-19 Leadership Team
