Sample the Wheaton learning experience by visiting one of your son's or daughter's classes. Take a look at the B Quad Class Visit Schedule to get an idea of what might be available, but the most accurate list will available at the Family Weekend Information Table.
     
8:45am - 4:15pm   Fridays at Wheaton Admissions Event
Calling all younger siblings! Participate in an official “visit” to Wheaton while waiting for your older sibling to get out of classes. Take a campus tour, learn about Wheaton with other prospective students, and receive a free gift. Advanced registration is required. Register for Fridays at Wheaton.
     
9:00am - 4:00pm      Preparing for Life After Wheaton
Stop by the Center for Vocation and Career table to learn about the many resources available to students as they prepare for life after their time at Wheaton College.

Take in the Christ at the Core Fall Series exhibition featuring etchings and lithographs of Marc Chagall’s imaginative interpretation of the Old Testament and Christ’s crucifixion.

Stop by the Marion E. Wade Center and visit with Dr. Timothy Larsen, McManis Professor of Christian Thought at Wheaton College, as he signs his newly released book “George MacDonald in the Age of Miracles: Incarnation, Doubt, and Reenchantment.” Copies will be available for purchase at a 15% discount.

6:00pm - 7:00pm   Student Iron Chef Cook-Off
Wheaton College's Bon Appetit Management Company is consistently ranked as one of the top food service programs in the nation. How does this culinary talent rub off on Wheaton students? Come find out at the eighth annual Wheaton College Iron Chef contest. Two teams of five Wheaton students will be paired with a chef from the Bon Appetit kitchen to create an appetizer, entree, and dessert with the mystery ingredient revealed at the start of the contest. A panel of parent judges unrelated to the students will name the winner. If you would like to be a judge, contact Raul.Delgado@cafebonappetit.com. (Time commitment: 5:45-6:50pm). Tickets to the Iron Chef contest include admission to Bon Appetit's regular dinner service. ($14.20/person)

The Bennet sisters try to sort through their own vanities to find “the object of their choice.” Come see this classic romance adapted for the stage from the beloved novel by Jane Austen. Tickets are required. ($11 adult/$10 student)

The Wheaton College Conservatory of Music presents a Family Weekend Concert featuring the Concert Choir, Men's Glee Club and Women's Chorale. Admission is free.

Join the Marion E. Wade Center for a story time featuring an abridged retelling of George MacDonald’s “The Light Princess.” MacDonald’s fairy tales are appropriate for children ages 5 to 55. Children under 12 should attend with a caregiver.

Learn and earn this summer! Join us and explore fantastic opportunities for your student at HoneyRock, Outdoor Center for Leadership Development at Wheaton College. Through the Wheaton in the Northwoods program, students earn up to eight hours of general education credit hours in four weeks (pre-course preparation required). In the Summer Leadership School (SLS), students develop core leadership competencies and earn valuable credit toward the Wheaton College Leadership Certificate. Participants in SLS are paid and scholarships are available.

There are also a wider variety of internships and job opportunities at HoneyRock each summer. Research shows that work at camp provides valuable life skills and improves employability after college. Come hear how!

  10th Annual Family Weekend Gospel Brunch
After morning church services, join us for a concert by the Wheaton College Gospel Choir directed by Tanya Egler. The choir will perform live from 11:45 am to 1:00 pm.  The performance is free with the purchase of brunch. ($12.40/person)
