Wheaton Passage COVID-19 Guidelines

  • We strongly encourage vaccination for all students, leaders, and faculty.
  • Documentation of vaccination for students will need to be provided using the Wheaton College COVID-19 Attestation Form, linked here. For more information on this form, please see the most recent campus updates regarding the Fall Semester, linked here, as well as the FAQ page for fall semester, linked here.
  • Students, leaders, and faculty who are not vaccinated, or who do not provide evidence of vaccinated status via the Wheaton College COVID-19 Attestation Form, will need to present a negative COVID test result. The test should be taken no more than 72 hours prior to arrival; a PCR test is preferred but a rapid test will be acceptable.
  • All students arriving via plane will need to wear masks while on the shuttle to Wheaton College regardless of vaccination status. Once checked in on Wheaton College campus, masks can be removed, but unvaccinated individuals should continue to wear masks in public indoor spaces (this would include the check in lobby space and the introductory meeting).
  • Masks will be worn by all students, regardless of vaccination status, on all buses at all times.
  • Due to the unique “bubble” and primarily outdoor nature of Passage, masks are only required during Passage under the following circumstances:
    • Unvaccinated students are asked to wear a mask when within 6 feet of someone that is not part of their cabin group (Urban students will be considered one cabin group until they come to HoneyRock, when they will become 3 cabin groups)
    • All students, regardless of vaccination status, are asked to wear masks when entering and leaving the dining hall, and when not seated within the dining hall.
  • Students participating in Urban Passage will need to wear masks when interacting with community members and anyone not part of the Passage program, including as directed by private businesses.Urban Passage students and student leaders that are unvaccinated or symptomatic will be tested on Friday August 13th prior to traveling to HoneyRock. Testing will be provided by HoneyRock at no additional cost.
  • On Monday, August 16th, all students and student leaders that are unvaccinated or symptomatic will be tested in order to prepare for a return to Wheaton College. Testing will be provided by HoneyRock at no additional cost and will serve as the pre-arrival test required for the start of the fall semester.
  • All students and student leaders, regardless of vaccination status, will wear masks on the bus back to Wheaton College. Upon arrival at Wheaton College, Wheaton College COVID-19 policies, including those regarding masking, will apply. For more information on the campus policies, please see the most recent campus updates regarding the Fall Semester, linked here, as well as the FAQ page for fall semester, linked here
