This investment underscores Wheaton College’s deep commitment to cultivating career-ready graduates, igniting creativity, and championing transformative student-led ventures grounded in the confidence of a Christian faith.

“We are excited to see this new addition on campus,” said Denise Daniels, Wheaton College Hudson T. Harrison Professor of Entrepreneurship. “It is the first time since our founding in 1860 that Wheaton College has invested into a private organization with the purpose of expanding education on campus.”

InnoHub is a joint investment by Elevate Innovations, an international venture studio based in Naperville, IL, and Wheaton College.  It is expected to engage over 100 students in its first year (2025-26).  Students will have the opportunity to join InnoHub either as part of a team conducting research for companies or by applying for an entrepreneurship program and developing their idea into a business.

“The addition of InnoHub to the Wheaton College ecosystem represents a powerful new educational model,” shared Andrew Kemmetmueller, Managing Director of Elevate Innovations. “The opportunity to bundle the strength of a Wheaton College liberal arts classroom education with the benefits of working on real company projects and students’ own ideas is a game changer. Graduates will enter the professional world confident and well-prepared in their callings.”

Throughout the academic year, InnoHub will host entrepreneurial pitch events, offer mentorship opportunities with alumni and business leaders, and provide funding support for student startups.

“God has blessed us with a unique opportunity to empower students in partnership with kingdom-minded marketplace leaders who want to invest in the next generation,” said Philip Ryken, President of Wheaton College. “This initiative is a fusion of College and alumni investment, offering personal mentorship and funding for aspiring entrepreneurs.”

With this bold investment in student innovation, Wheaton College is empowering students to thrive as innovators, business leaders, and entrepreneurs. For more information, visit www.wheatoninnohub.com.
