Employees- faculty and staff traveling with a Wheaton College international trip are welcome to utilize the services of Student Health Services (SHS) International Travel Clinic (ITC).
Due to the fact that the ITC is a specialized clinic, non-students utilizing this services will be asked to present the following primary care records 48-hours before their travel consult:
- Documentation of vaccinations or blood work to show immunities
- A current physical if > 40 years old within the last year
- A current physical if ≤ 40 years old within the last 3 years
ITC can complete travel consults for current faculty and staff. However, ITC cannot service children or other family members at this time. Faculty and staff will will need to pay for their travel consult, travel supplies, and any vaccines administered AT THE TIME OF SERVICE. Cash or check only, please.
If the SHS Travel Physician should need further clarification of your medical needs or history, she may contact your Primary Care Provider after your consent.
All patient specific medical information sent to SHS or completed at SHS complies with all federal and state privacy and security laws.
Student Health Services is now a part of Cadence of Northwestern EPIC Community Connect. If your medical provider utilizes the software EPIC, SHS is able to obtain your most recent physical. You will be asked in advance to provide SHS with a consent form so that your chart can be accessed.
