"The Lord bless and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace."
This is undoubtedly a difficult time wishing students well as they head back home for the semester. We as a staff are praying for students daily during this time of transition, which has affected us all in similar and also very different ways.
In solidarity with the most vulnerable, the OCO staff has decided to work remotely until further notice. Although most of us will not be physically present on campus, we are available to students for phone calls, video conversations, texts, and by other means to continue to support them and pray for them. We endeavor to lead each other toward a brighter future.
Currently, the OCO staff is thinking about the best way(s) for students and staff to keep in touch and in community with one another. This may look like continued cabinet meetings via video conferencing, increased communication via email / texts (so please be sure to check often), and other creative methods. If you have ideas, I welcome them. More updates to come soon.
During times like these, the worse and best of humanity are showcased. My prayer is that the best of who we are as followers of Christ and what we see will spread quicker than this virus ever will.
The OCO team sends our prayers and love to students and their families.
