Urbana 2025

The estimated price per student for attendance at Urbana 25 may be between $800-$1000. This includes the registration fee, hotel stay, food, and transportation.

Wheaton Students will need to pay an initial $250 deposit for the registration fee using the Wheaton Marketplace. Students will also be responsible for paying for their own transportation to the conference in Phoenix.

All students will be asked to send 25 emails/letters to friends, family, and their local church to help subsidize the cost of registration, food, lodging, and any additional expenses during the conference. Attached here is a template letter Wheaton students can use.

There are two specific grants that support Wheaton student attendance at Urbana 25. The Torrey M. Johnson Grant and the Life with God Together Mini-Grant. Students will use this application for both grants and may be awarded either, but not both. Grant awards will be given up to $250 and will be given on a first come basis.

We want to make it as accessible as possible, despite the non-central location of the conference. If you live within driving distance, there will likely be regional carpools that you could join. For finding cheap flights, we would recommend booking early and looking for flights on sites such as Kayak and Priceline. (You can also set price tracking alerts for flights within a particular window of time to see what a reasonable range would be.)
