We are here to serve our alumni through job changes, graduate school, and major career transitions. Take advantage of the special resources we offer, many of which can be accessed anytime, anywhere!
Handshake is the new career platform for Wheaton students and alumni. Handshake replaces ThunderCareers, our former online job board. As an alumnus/a, you can create a profile and search for job opportunities, or login as an employer to recruit at your company or organization. You will need a separate employer account if you want to recruit on Handshake.
Instructions for creating an alumni account:
- Go to wheaton.joinhandshake.com
- Enter any email address and click "Next."
- Select "I'm a Student or Alumni."
- Handshake will prompt you to enter your my.wheaton.edu email address, but simply select "Register a New Account" to continue with any email address.
- We will approve your account within one business day.
Handshake is a robust platform and can make personalized recommendations based on your profile and searches. Create a rich profile to make the most out of the Handshake system.

1:1 Appointment with a Career Coach
The CVC team works exclusively with current students or alumni that have graduated within the past two years during the academic year, so one-on-one appointments with a career coach can be scheduled over Christmas break, spring break, or during the summer months. Please schedule an appointment online through Handshake during one of these times.
Wheaton in Network
Wheaton in Network (WiN) is an online platform connecting students and alumni for networking, mentoring opportunities, and advice. Join WiN and complete your profile so that students can search and connect with you. As an alumnus/a, you can also search for fellow alumni and connect with them. Search by career field, location, major, or even keyword - the possibilities are endless!
