Young Artists Showcase

Our Young Artists Showcase features three artists at three stages of their careers. Violinist Amelia Piscitelli is a university student who has received acclaim since taking up the violin in 2005. Andrew Wilder has received his Master’s Degree in Guitar performance, but has also pursued studies in Italy and Switzerland and performed widely in America and Europe. Pianist Hyejin (pronounced “Hae-jin”) Cho is originally from Korea and has completed her Doctor of Musical Arts Degree at the University of Michigan. Ms. Cho has been praised for her great sensitivity and a profound ability to reach any audience with an enriching message. This exciting celebration of music performed by three distinguished young artists includes music by Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Schumann, Lalo and Svensen. With this exciting event in the brand new Armerding Concert Hall, the Wheaton College Artist Series continues its mission to inspire emerging audiences through the discovery of fresh artistic talent.

The concert will be live-streamed from Armerding Concert Hall in the Armerding Center for Music and the Arts. For more information call 630-752-5099.
