What We Believe
Summer camp programs at HoneyRock are for children grades 3-12. At HoneyRock all our camper programs are about developing people to be whole and effective Christians, equipped and empowered to work in Christ's Kingdom. We are focused on building into children the character traits needed to be leaders, to serve others, and to face the challenges and disappointments in life. Our programs purposefully build upon each other year after year, pulling campers forward with age appropriate responsibility and challenges that will reveal their unique God-given gifts.
As the Outdoor Center for Leadership Development of Wheaton College, HoneyRock has offers kids from all over the country an opportunity to grow, learn and develop in powerful ways. Both parents and campers alike consistently communicate to us the life change they experienced at HoneyRock. We invite you to join us for another life-changing summer at HoneyRock!
Elementary and Junior High School Summer Camp Experiences
We're bringing it back: Day Camp! What better way to introduce your littles to camp than to send them for action-packed days at HoneyRock? They'll get a full sample of the HoneyRock experience: participating in fun activities, learning about Christ through interactive devotionals, spending time in authentic community, and experiencing creation through short hikes on our local trails.

Is this your child's first time away from home? Are they interested in the idea camp, but not sure about making the two-week commitment of a longer program? Intro could be a perfect fit!

Our 12-Day Residential Camp program has been a part of HoneyRock since we opened our doors in 1951. The camp schedule is written so that every hour is specifically geared toward creating opportunities for campers to see the Lord through their cabins, their play, their quiet times and their activities.
July 1 - July 12 / July 15 - July 26 / July 29 - August 9
High School Summer Camp Experiences
Making the switch to high school is a big jump! That's why we've created Advance Camp, a program designed to help students wrestle with questions such as “Who am I? What is true? What is my purpose?” As they enter high school, we want students thinking about who they're becoming and taking ownership of their faith, ready to walk the halls of high school as a confident and kind Christ-follower.
2019: June 24 - July 12 / July 22 - August 9
Pursue righteousness. Pursue faith. Pursue love. Pursue peace. Pursue life with a purpose.
More than anything, in 2:22 we want you to experience Jesus Christ in a way that’s real, and powerful, and changes everything. Through quiet times and cabin discussions, large group worship and campfire devotions, living life together and serving others, we want to challenge you with what it means to follow Jesus.
July 1 - July 26, 2019
By discovering your own unique God-given gifts as well as your personal strengths, this program will take you to the next level of following Jesus, growing in leadership and serving with a passion for making a difference in the world.
June 24 - July 29, 2019
Explore one of the wildest places in the lower 48 states. This epic expedition will challenge you to learn advanced canoe skills as well as wilderness ethics, backcountry navigation, backcountry cooking, and have opportunities for deep reflection in solitude.
