Summer Camp at HoneyRock - 2021 Dates and Prices

This page just provides dates and prices so that you can start planning for summer 2021. We'll roll out program descriptions, schedules, photos, and more later this fall!

2021 Summer Camp at HoneyRock

After successfully navigating a covid-safe summer, we're excited to start planning for 2021. At this point, we are offering our traditional lineup of summer camp programs. If we need to pivot due to COVID, we will do so in the late spring similar to how we navigated 2020. The best way to ensure you're in the loop and receiving updates from us is to register your camper on November 15th, 2020.

Wait, what's Catalyst? Where are the Service Team and Assistant Counselor programs?

Catalyst is our new program for 11th and 12th graders, replacing the Service Team and Assistant Counselor programs.

All throughout Scripture we see Jesus bringing his people to these catalytic moments where they have these divine encounters with God and walk away transformed. Our goal with this program is to provide high school students with a training group for their faith development and character formation.

At the conclusion of the two years in Catalyst, we hope students launch out of their homes and into whatever the Lord is calling them to step into next. We want this program to serve as the catalyst for them to make the commitment to walking as faithful influences, who are equipped and ready to navigate the complex world.

We'll have more information on what Catalyst will look like and thinking behind the change this fall. In the meantime, here's what we recommend for 10th-12th graders as they're looking at programs for next summer at HoneyRock:

10th Graders: Complete 2:22 or a Voyageur trip before Catalyst 1! Scroll up for dates.

11th Graders: Consider Catalyst 1 unless you completed Service Team in '19; then we recommend Catalyst 2.

12th Graders: Consider Catalyst 2 unless you want to come back as a HoneyRock camper in '22 (going into your freshman year of college); if this is the case, choose Catalyst 1 and plan to complete Catalyst 2 in '22.

Need a shorter program? If you can't spend 5-8 weeks at HoneyRock, consider one of our Voyageur Trips at two or three weeks! Scroll up to see the dates.

Worried about travel logistics?

We provide coach bus transportation to and from Wheaton, IL, Schaumburg, IL, and Madison, WI. If your camper needs to fly in, we'll pick them up at Rhinelander (RHI) or Wausau (CWA) airports. We'll share more information on your options this fall.

Invite a Friend to Camp

Camp friends are the best friends!

First - we have to say that there are so many campers who come to HoneyRock for the first time without knowing anyone. The small cabin sizes, family-style meals, and intentional programming work together to get campers feeling like the best of friends in no time.

However, if your camper needs a buddy to make the jump into camp, we understand! If you invite a friend (and they attend!) we'll fill both of your camp store accounts. We'll share how to redeem the camp store funds this fall...but start the conversation with friends! We can't wait to meet them this summer.
