On Staff since 2011
I grew up in southeastern Pennsylvania. During my undergraduate years, I attended Wheaton College. For graduate work, I studied at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. My wife, Lauren, and I met in North Carolina and married several years later in 2006. We have two sons, Cohen and Charlie. Lauren and I each took part in HoneyRock’s graduate assistant program from 2007-08. Bookending that period, I worked as a coastal geologist across the eastern seaboard for a total of nearly eight years. At HoneyRock, I now serve as the Finance and Advancement Director.
The Lord has blessed me with parents who love Jesus; I accepted Him as Lord and Savior at an early age. Learning to understand my identity in Jesus and submitting to His will has resulted in a life transformed by the gospel.
I enjoy working at HoneyRock because of the blessing of being involved in and experiencing countless examples of its mission being fulfilled faithfully. God has and continues to develop His story on a daily basis that involves the people, facilities, and creative order that is unique to HoneyRock. I can’t help but be excited to play a role in that story.
