Biography

Mary Ossowski served cross-culturally in Spain for 25 years on a multi-cultural team. During that time, she co-founded and administered a Spanish NGO focused on taking humanitarian aid to North Africa. She also worked with immigrants entering Spain, helping with cultural adaptation, language acquisition, legal, and health care needs. Mary worked in two different bi-lingual Spanish schools in addition to conducting group and individual English instruction for executive level professionals.

Mary then worked in administration at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. In February 2024 she came full circle to Wheaton College, to the same department where she earned her M.A. She is excited to help others prepare for cross-cultural work and be part of the Wheaton College community. She loves traveling, learning about other cultures and their cuisine, cooking, reading and hiking. Her bucket list includes a trip to New Zealand and Australia to visit former co-workers.
