About the Conference

The Wheaton College History of Christianity, Theology, and Biblical Exegesis M.A. programs present the Inheritance Graduate Student Conference during the Spring semester of each academic year. This annual conference celebrates graduate students from the School of Biblical and Theological Studies and their research and accomplishments. The conference is a time for faculty, students, and guests to come together to engage in discussions and fellowship.

Graduate students in the History of Christianity, Theology, and Biblical Exegesis programs are given the opportunity share their original research and writing in a professional, collegial setting among their peers and professors. More recently, the conference has expanded to include students from other institutions, increasing the breadth and depth of exposure, conversation, and diversity. Topics now range from exegetical and Biblical studies, systematic and historical theology, and Church history.

A highlight of each year is the keynote address, presented by a top scholar in the field of Biblical and Theological Studies.
