Kyle Orth, M.M., B.M.

Born in California and raised in Texas, Kyle Orth earned a B.M. in piano at Texas Christian University, and an M.M. in piano at the New England Conservatory of Music, where he is currently a doctoral candidate.  His principal teachers include Wha Kyung Byun, John Owings, Alex McDonald, and Marcy McDonald.  An active performer and prize-winner, he performed with ensembles including the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the Israel Symphony Orchestra, the Minnesota Orchestra, and the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.  He is a devoted chamber musician, currently in his second summer as a participant in the Steans Institute program for piano and strings at the Ravinia Festival.  He is also committed to education, and has played regularly for Cliburn in the Classroom, a program bringing live music to children across the Dallas/Fort Worth region.
