Julia Clearman, M.A.

Raised a Suzuki pianist, Julia Clearman has experienced many facets of music education. Now, in her work with students, Julia combines both psychology and music in order to develop innovative ways to teach students the beauty of classical piano music. As an inspiring psychologist, she frequently speaks about music performance anxiety and the Bio-Cognitive Method of technique.
Julia has a long history of performing and teaching with some of her favorite positions being; faculty accompanist and adjunct professor of music at Crown College, St. Bonifacius, MN; artistic faculty at MacPhail Center for Music, Minneapolis, MN; and staff accompanist at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Oak Grove, MN. When she is not practicing, teaching, or performing, Julia is composing, rearranging, or dreaming about piano music.
