Wheaton College is pleased to announce increased academic scholarship levels for new students enrolling at Wheaton, beginning Fall 2019.
The Presidential Scholarships, named after Wheaton College’s historic leaders, extend the College’s investment in students who demonstrate deepening Christian faith and significant academic achievement in their schools and communities.
Blanchard Presidential Scholarship
- $64,000 ($16,000 per year)
- Charles Blanchard, Wheaton’s second president and son of founder Jonathan Blanchard, is the College’s longest serving president. During his 43 years in office, Blanchard commended students to hard work in their studies and have compassion for the wider world.
Edman Presidential Scholarship
- $48,000 ($12,000 per year)
- Wheaton College’s fourth president, V. Raymond Edman led the institution through its 100th anniversary. Under his tenure, Wheaton rose to global impact and international acclaim for distinctively Christ-centered education.
Every applicant to Wheaton is given consideration for academic scholarships, based on standardized tests, GPA, academic rigor of curriculum, and class rank (if available). Students who qualify will receive their scholarship offer with their acceptance letter.
Each Presidential Scholarship is renewable annually for up to four years for students who remain in good academic standing at Wheaton College (pro-rated for transfer students). All Wheaton College applicants (including non-U.S. citizens) will be considered for Presidential Scholarships; no additional scholarship application is required.
