Cali’s Choice Scholarship: A $5,000 scholarship awarded to students pursuing careers or are interested in game and mobile app development. Students must be pursuing a degree in computer science or computer engineering. Applicants must write a research paper on the following topic: “Explain the process educators use to integrate gaming into the classroom.” Deadline: May 15, annually.

Capital Auto Auction STEM Scholarship: A scholarship awarded to an Undergraduate student majoring in a STEM field of study (or related field). One applicant will receive a $1,000 scholarship, and two runners-up will receive a $250 scholarship. Deadline: August 15, 2022.

Deputy Scholarship for Women in Technology: A $1,000 scholarship awarded to a student who writes a 500-word essay about how the scholarship and their current technology course workload will help them achieve success and what that success means to them and their career aspirations. Deadline: July 31, 2020.

Pacific Medical Training Scholarship: A $1,000 scholarship awarded to students pursuing a healthcare degree. Applicants must write a 750 to 1,000-word essay discussing emergency medical care from the perspective of a medical student. Deadline: November 1, 2022.

First Generation College Student Scholarship from Study.com: The First-Generation College Student Scholarship from Study.com is offering a $500 academic award to any first-generation student pursuing their undergraduate college degree. Deadline: May 1, 2022.

IFSA First Generation Scholarship: A scholarship up to $2,500 intended for first-generation college students to help fund an IFSA study abroad program. Deadlines: March 1 and October 1, annually.

Ownage's 'Make Us Laugh' Scholarship: A $1,000 scholarship awarded to students to help them in continuing their education. Applicants must create a 3 to 5-minute video showcasing their comedic talent. Deadlines: May 31 and December 31, annually.

Pickleball Pad Scholarship: A $1,000 scholarship awarded to students to assist with their educational expenses. Applicants must write a minimum 1,200-word essay in response to the prompt provided each year. Deadline: October 10, annually.

Public Interest

ABC Fundraising Scholarship: A $1,500 scholarship awarded to students who have experience in volunteer or fundraising work. Applicants must complete a Volunteer Verification Form (provided via link) as well as craft an 800 to 1,000-word essay reflecting on their volunteering/fundraising experience, how it's shaped them as a person, and how they plan to continue their work in the future. Essays can include photos, charts or infographics where appropriate. Deadline: June 30, annually.

Auto Safety and Technology Scholarship: A $2,500 scholarship awarded to a student to assist with their educational expenses. Applicants must write an essay about the influence of technology on motor vehicle safety and accident risk. Deadline: December 15, 2021.

Blass Law Traffic Stop PSA Scholarship: Blass Law will give this $2,500 scholarship to one student who creates and submits an excellent video Public Service Announcement (PSA) that educates the public about what to do during a traffic stop. Deadline: December 15, 2021.

Florin Roebig Scholarship: A scholarship opportunity awarding up to 750 for a first-place submission, $500 for second place and $250 for third place to assist with student's educational expenses. Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr. Memorial Scholarship: A $1,000 scholarship awarded bi-annually to students who write a 750 to 1,000-word essay responding to the following question: “How has social media helped advance the cause of civil rights in America?” Deadlines: June 1 and December 1, annually.

KNR Don’t Text and Drive Scholarship: A $5,000 scholarship for a student who develops a unique and effective plan aimed at reducing distracted driving. Accepting a variety of media. A letter of recommendation from a teacher or faculty member is required. Deadline: March 31, 2022.

LA Tutors Innovation in Education Scholarship: A $500 scholarship awarded monthly to a student to assist with their educational expenses. Mattress Nerd's Sustainability Scholarship: A $1,000 scholarship awarded to students interested in sustainability to assist with their educational expenses. Applicants must write one 500 to 1,000-word essay responding to the three prompts listed. Deadline: April 1, annually.

OppU Achievers Scholarship: A $2,500 scholarship awarded to a high school student, or a student enrolled at least part time in an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Trade school. Applicants must submit a maximum 500-word essay responding to the following prompt: "tell us why you’re an achiever. How have you created opportunity for yourself? How have you created opportunity for others? Did you start a small business? Are you the founder of a community program? How did you overcome the odds and make your dreams—or the dreams of others—come true?" Deadlines: March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31, annually.

Pacific Bay Recovery Scholarship: A $5000 scholarship awarded to students to assist with their educational expenses. Students with an interest in substance rehabilitation are highly encouraged to apply. Applicants must write a minimum 1,000-word essay on the following topic: "In this new 2021 decade, what new way/s would you suggest our cities/states utilize to achieve a successful reduction in existing and/or the prevention of new cases of opioid addiction?" Deadline: December 31, 2021.

Patrick Henry Maddren Scholarship: A $2,000 scholarship awarded to students to assist with their educational expenses. Applicants must write a 700 to 800-word essay on the following topic: "What is your best solution for resolution of the student loan debt crisis?" Deadline: December 10, 2021.

Sutliff and Stout First Step Scholarship: A $1,500 scholarship awarded to students to assist with their educational expenses. Applicants must write a minimum 500-word essay detailing distracted driving habits that are common or that they possess and provide concrete steps of how they will put an end to those habits. Deadline: July 29, 2022.

Vocation

AIS Global Scholarship Program: A $5,000 scholarship awarded internationally to students to not only assist with their educational expenses, but also receive one-on-one mentoring with industry experts. Applicants must write a 1,500 to 2,000-word essay that highlights their favorite subject and the purpose and flow of the subject in detail. Deadline: May 15, annually.

American Psychological Association: Various scholarships and grants for advancing the science and practice of psychology. Requirements and deadlines vary.

Charish Scholarship: A $2,500 scholarship awarded to students to assist with their educational expenses. All majors are encouraged to apply, but preference will be given to applicants pursuing design and engineering related fields. Applicants must write a 500-word essay designing their ideal future and what they plan to do in order to achieve that dream. Deadlines: January 1 and June 30, annually.

Chuan Ai Lu Engstrom Memorial Scholarship: A $1,000 scholarship awarded to students in memory of PCB Solutions employee, Chuan Ai Lu Engstrom. Applicants must write a short essay on the following topic: "Discuss your vision of electronic design, engineering and manufacturing in the global economy". Applicants must then create a short bio video describing themselves, their history and why education is important to them. Deadline: August 1 and December 1, annually.

Lawn Butler Scholarship: A bi-annual scholarship of $2,000 awarded to students who either write a 500-word maximum essay explaining an industry myth and how we can overcome it for the Spring scholarship or, create a one-minute video that shares why they think landscaping is important to communities for the Fall scholarship. Deadlines: December 5 (Spring) and August 5 (Fall), annually.

Lawn Starter Scholarship: A $1,000 scholarship awarded to a student who submits an essay between 500 and 700 words on the following prompt: "What makes you passionate about building a business?" Deadlines: August 20 and December 31, annually.

Lounge Lizard Web Design Scholarship: A $1,000 scholarship awarded to students to assist with their educational expenses. Applicants must submit an original web design piece created by them. The recipient of the scholarship will also receive a design critique session with Lounge Lizard Founder, Ken Braun. Deadlines: October 3, 2021, and February 19, 2022.

Pretty Photoshop Actions Scholarship: A $500 scholarship awarded to a student who follows the following instructions: Carefully research and compose an essay style Adobe Photoshop tutorial of 800 to 1,000 words, with screenshots and photos included to illustrate your points on one of the given topics. Deadline: October 15, annually.

Prime Scholarship: A $1,000 scholarship awarded to five students who intend on pursuing a career in nursing. Deadline: July 31 and December 15, annually.

R3 Stem Cell Scholarship: An annual $1,500 scholarship awarded to students interested in pursuing the field of regenerative medicine.
