COVID-19 Information for The Writing Center

In-Person and Online Appointments Available

During the 2021-2022 academic year, the Writing Center will be offering in-person and online video consultations for undergraduate and graduate students.

Make an appointment at wheaton.mywconline.com. We offer appointments on two schedules: one schedule for undergraduate students and one for graduate and ESL students.

In-Person Appointments

In-person appointments will be held in our Writing Center on the first floor of Buswell Library next to the computer labs. Bring your laptop or a physical copy of your paper. Masks are required.
Most undergraduate appointments are only available in person. In-person graduate student appointments are only available on Mondays from 1:30-4:30 p.m.

Online Appointments

Online appointments are synchronous video consultations through Google Meet. Prior to your scheduled online appointment, watch our video and review our Quick Guide for Clients for directions on how to join your online video consultation and share your writing as a Google Doc. We continue to operate out of Central Time for all online appointments.
Most graduate student appointments are only available online. Online undergraduate appointments are available from 8:00-10:30 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays.

Walk-In Hours

Undergraduate consultants will be available for walk-in consultations from 3:00pm-5:00pm Mondays through Thursdays. Stop by and get help on your paper even if you don't have an appointment.
All appointments during regular hours must be booked at least two hours in advance.
