External Research Opportunities

Many opportunities exist for students to participate in research off-campus, especially during the summer. Participation in an external Research Experience for Undergraduates is for many students a highlight of their education.

A host of external Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) programs are available with deadlines ranging from late fall to early spring. Below are links to a few of these programs but students are encouraged to search more broadly for institutions and topic areas that interest them.
