Mathematics and Computer Science Department

The Wheaton College Department of Mathematics and Computer Science offers a mathematics program with two majors and a computer science program. The goal of both programs is to equip you to be a transforming agent of Christ in a world filled with problems. Our outstanding faculty will guide you through an interdisciplinary approach to critical thinking, logic and creative problem solving skills. And you’ll be prepared for graduate school or a career in a wide variety of fields.

Mathematics Program

The mathematics program at Wheaton College offers two majors: mathematics and applied mathematics. Regardless of which you choose, you'll work with our outstanding faculty and enjoy a rich, interdisciplinary learning environment which includes research, mentoring, clubs and more. When you graduate you'll be well prepared for a variety of careers or graduate studies.

Computer Science Program

In the computer science department at Wheaton College, we believe computer science is about so much more than technical details. As a student in our department, you'll work with top-notch faculty and peers to study an innovative curriculum with an interdisciplinary approach to devising efficient solutions to the puzzles of the world.
