2012: Religion and Literature in the Long Nineteenth Century

Mark Knight is Associate Professor of English at the University of Toronto after a decade teaching at Roehampton University in London. His primary research and teaching interests are religion and literature, Victorian literature, and hermeneutics in literary theory--particularly the work of Hans-Georg Gadamer. His work includes Good Words: Evangelicalism and the Victorian Novel and a co-authored book with Emma Mason entitled Faithful Reading: Poetry and Christian Practice.
