Students wishing to fulfill their Wellness requirement have the option to meet that requirement by passing the Wellness Competency Exam.
Registration and Cost
The Wellness competency exam is administered on two occasions annually - once in the fall and again in the spring. You are eligible to attempt the exam a maximum of 2 times over the span of your Wheaton College career.
To register for the Fall 2018 Exam, you may stop into the Applied Health Science Office, Room 115, located in the Meyer Science building, beginning September 3, 2018. A $10 registration fee is due at the time you register. Registration closes Friday, September 7th at 3:00 p.m.

2018-2019 Exam Dates

The first part of the exam will be held in Meyer Science Center, Room 129 at 6:30 p.m. Please be advised that late arrivals will not be permitted to sit for the exam. You must arrive by 6:25 p.m. in order to take the exam.
Results of the exam will be reported to the student and the Registrar within one week of exam date. Students who successfully pass the content portion of this exam will be given instructions for completing the lab assignment portion of the exam. These assignments (Activity Lab, Nutrition Lab, and Sleep Lab logs) will be due no later than 8 weeks following notification of a passing score, and will be graded within 2 weeks of submission, with both student and Registrar being notified of final overall results.
The exam is a one hour exam and consists of approximately 40 multiple choice questions. A minimum score of 70% is required to move on to the lab assignment portion of the exam.
Registration for the September 2018 exam will open September 3, 2018. You must register in order to sit for the exam.
