Biography
Dr. Xiaoyu (Hilary) Wang is an environmental engineer who completed her Ph.D. at Michigan State University where she conducted innovative research focused on the development of cost-effective methods for treating and reusing wastewater. Her work included the use of photochemical catalytic processes to generate hydrogen from wastewater, followed by catalytic ozonation and membrane filtration to remove trace organic contaminants. Dr. Wang has worked as a researcher at the University of Nebraska and with the Institute of Eco-environment and Soil Sciences with the Guangdong Academy of Sciences.
