Trevor O’Riordan received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Clarinet Performance from the Eastman School of Music. He studied clarinet with Jon Manasse, Kenneth Grant, Raphael Sanders, Patti Carlson, and John Svagera, and has participated in master classes with Larry Combs, John Bruce Yeh, and Ricardo Morales.
An active performer, O'Riordan is currently principal clarinetist of both the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra and the South Bend Symphony. He has been featured soloist, performing concertos by Mozart, Copland, Nielsen, and Weber. Trevor has also performed with the Milwaukee Symphony, Green Bay Symphony, Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra, Elmhurst Symphony, New Philharmonic, and Chicago Civic Orchestra. He has been fortunate to play under the baton of Daniel Barenboim and Pierre Boulez.
In 2003, Trevor was the winning artist in the International Clarinet Association's Orchestra Audition Competition and was honored to receive Eastman’s John Celentano Award for Excellence in Chamber Music. Before college, he placed third in the ICA's High School Performer's Competition and participated in summer music programs at both Brevard and Interlochen academies.
Trevor currently maintains a large teaching studio in the western suburban high and middle schools.
