Dr. Maria Walford-Dellù was born in Milan, Italy and has taught Italian for nearly 50 years. She has also served as a translator and interpreter in Italian, French, and English. Dr. Walford-Dellù holds a "Licence ès Lettres" in Italian (Language and Literature), French (Language and Literature), and Art History from the Université de Lausanne, Switzerland, as well as a Ph.D. in Italian Language and Literature from the University of Chicago. She has been teaching Italian Grammar for Singers at the Conservatory of Music since 2004.
