Biography
I have enjoyed math as long as I can remember. I also loved helping my friends with math, and this developed into a passion for teaching. I earned a Ph.D. in math at Purdue, where I initially did research in commutative algebra before switching to a focus on math education at the undergraduate level for my dissertation. Outside of work, most of my time is spent with my family. My husband and I have two kids. I also enjoy exercising, playing board games, and rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles.
