Faith and Public Service: Making a Difference at the White House and U.S. Mint

Ed Moy, Former U.S. Mint Director and special assistant to the president for presidential personnel at the White House

A light reception and book signing followed the free lecture open to the public in Coray Alumni Gymnasium on Tuesday, November 17 from 7:00 to 8:30pm.

Ed MoyEd Moy served as the 38th director of the United States Mint from 2006 - 2011. He was responsible for running the world's largest manufacturing of circulating coins, precious metal bullion, and numismatic products. His role included working closely with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Congress, and the Federal Reserve, especially during the Financial Crisis and Great Recession.

From 2001 - 2006, he served as a special assistant to the president for presidential personnel at the White House. He was responsible for recommending to the president candidates to serve the highest levels of federal government. He also helped start and lead the White House Christian Fellowship.
