In order to prioritize the health and safety of our visitors and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Wade Center is closed through the summer. These measures are in alignment with the guidelines of Wheaton College and the regulations of the State of Illinois. Although the museum will remain closed for the foreseeable future, we anticipate welcoming researchers back via scheduled appointments after the beginning of the Wheaton College fall academic term with safety protocols in place. More details on research visit scheduling will be forthcoming.
In the meantime reference staff and limited services will continue to be available. Please contact Wade archival staff at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions, and review our Collection Listings page for access to our catalog and material descriptions.
Announcements and more information about Wheaton College’s planning around the COVID-19 virus are available. We apologize to our visitors for this inconvenience, and look forward to welcoming you back when it is safe to do so.
