Reading at the Wade: Saturday Book Group
This book discussion group, facilitated by Dr. Rolland Hein, meets at the Wade Center on Saturday mornings from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. The Winter session is January 13 through April 7, 2018.
Winter discussion is on the Letters of C.S. Lewis, W.H. Lewis and Walter Hooper, eds, Harper One. In reading Lewis’s letters we get a fresh understanding of his mind and see him in his daily relationships. Of especial interest are his early attitudes and struggles, his relationships with his father and brother, his conversion, and his many responses to correspondents whom he did not know personally.
