Shawn has worked at the Wade Center since 2003. Now in semi-retirement, she does occasional special projects work for the Wade such as copy editing VII, indexing Wade publications, and creating museum displays.
Shawn has a B.A. in French from Wheaton College and a M.S.Ed from Northern Illinois University. She and her husband Pete have two sons and daughters-in-law, and two grandchildren. Bible study and memorization have been life-long commitments and ministries. Shawn enjoys bicycling, motorcycling, skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, stained glass work, playing percussion, handbell ringing, and of course, reading.
