Complexities of the Death Penalty Discussed

Wheaton College hosts a panel of experts discussing the complexities and challenges of implementing the death penalty in the United States. The event, titled The Death Penalty Forum, takes place on Thursday, November 6, 7:30PM, Barrows Auditorium.  This event is free and open to the public.

Panelists Include:

Vince Bacote Dr. Vincent Bacote, Director of Wheaton College's Center for Applied Christian Ethics
David Gushee Dr. David Gushee, Director of Mercer University's Center for Theology and Public Life
G Salguero Rev. Gabriel Salguero, President of the National Latino Evangelical Coalition
Frank Thompson Frank Thompson, former Superintendent of Oregon State Penitentiary
Kirk Bloodsworth Kirk Bloodsworth, a former death row inmate who was the first person in the United States to be exonerated by DNA testing
