Dawn Porter is an attorney, civil justice crusader and an award-winning documentary filmmaker and will speak on her experience filming “Gideon’s Army”. Dawn is currently working on a film project with Michelle Alexander on her book The New Jim Crow. She will be lecturing on Monday, February 2 at 7PM in Barrows Auditorium. In preparation for her visit CACE is showing Gideon’s Army a week prior to her visit on Monday, January 26, 7PM at the Science Lecture Hall.
