From the Director's Desk

Greetings and welcome to the beginning of another school year here at Wheaton. This year is special for us as it marks the 25th anniversary of the Center for Applied Christian Ethics. This milestone serves as an opportunity for us not only to be thankful to God for the work of the center, but also to seriously consider the greatest challenges that face us in the future. Our first event of the year directly tackles this question and we are excited and honored to have Dr. Larry Arnn, Dr. John Kilner and Dr. Eric Mcluhan to help us think about how we should be aware of and address some of the greatest moral issues of our time. Professor Charlie Emmerich will moderate this roundtable discussion brought to us by the generosity of the David A. Penner Family foundation. In the months ahead we will continue to examine a range of ethical issues as we celebrate 25 years and look forward to many more. Below you will find specific information on the Penner Roundtable and some of our future events in the coming months. Please join us as we contemplate how to live with Christian faithfulness in a world that presents us with many potential challenges to a steady moral compass.
