Correctional Ministries and Chaplains Association

The Correctional Ministries and Chaplains Association (CMCA) is a professional association that unites Christians as they serve in correctional ministry fulfilling the Great Commission.

When was CMCA launched?

In May 2011, the Institute for Prison Ministries (IPM) hosted the founding meeting of the Correctional Ministries and Chaplains Association (CMCA). Over 40 representatives from 20 different correctional ministries came together with a vision to see Christians working together in correctional ministry to advance Christ’s kingdom and enhance public safety.
