Once you have reserved a location in 25Live and received an event confirmation email from the Scheduling Services office, you may begin to commit resources, engage your speaker and plan airline/hotel accommodations, etc. You may also begin promoting your event!
Several departments across campus leverage their unique skillset to offer a variety of ways to promote your event. In an effort to simplify things for event planners, we have listed them all here.
Found on the home page of theWheaton College Portaland theScheduling Services website, this calendar promotes events that are open to large groups within the campus community, including faculty, staff and/or students.
To promote your event on this calendar, select the "Happening on Campus" box when submitting your request in 25Live or email scheduling.services@wheaton.edu.
Found on the Wheaton College Events page and the Scheduling Services website, this calendar promotes events that are intended for the general public, including off campus guests. Marketing Communications also uses it as the source of information for the college's social media feed, press releases and its printed calendar, which is published four times per year and distributed to 30,000 homes in Wheaton and Glen Ellyn.
To promote your event on this calendar, complete the Promotional Event Description Form.
Every Tuesday and Friday during the school year, the Academic and Informational Technology Department sends out consolidated announcements to all students, faculty, and staff via email.
AIT also maintains a list of announcements accessible via the Wheaton College Gateway App.
A submission form and additional information for both types of announcements may be found on AIT's Bi-Weekly Announcements Email Page.
Marketing Communications offers comprehensive editing, graphic design, and production services for print publications and other marketing materials.
Submit your design request using Marketing Communication's Print Design Request Form.
Anyone wishing to hang promotional material around campus must have their advertising approved and stamped by the Student Involvement Office. Advertisements may only be hung in approved locations.

Campus fliers can be sent to the student body as a whole or be broken down by student class or gender. Content of any flier/handout must adhere to the standards of the College and will be distributed at the discretion of the Post Office manager.
