Public Safety offers a variety of free motorist assistance services to the campus community and our visitors. We will respond to any on-campus location, as well as off-campus locations (depending on location and staffing).
Jumpstart
Using a portable jumpstart unit, officers can assist in starting your vehicle when your battery is low. The portability of the unit allows officers to access the vehicle regardless of how and where it is parked.
Emergency Gallon of Gasoline
Out of gas? We offer a complimentary gallon of fuel -- enough to get you to a gas station to fill up your tank. (Public Safety reserves the right to refuse this service to those who attempt to abuse our generosity.)
Tire Inflation
Officers carry portable tire inflation devices which can quickly inflate a low or flat tire. Additionally, officers may (at the officer's discretion) help a motorist change a tire.
