Raquel's primary responsibilities are to develop and execute measurably successful marketing and communication strategies that enhance the new campaign fundraising efforts while aligning with and reinforcing the brand of Wheaton College.

This includes collaboration on the development and implementation of the marketing strategy, project management, marketing, campaign copy, branding, and promotion of Wheaton's Campaign initiatives for the Capital Campaign Division in partnership with the Marketing Communications and Development Division.

Prior to Wheaton, Raquel worked at an international medical device supply company where she participated in the conceptualization of medical devices and the execution of the product launch debuts for North America. Her favorite part of this season in her life was being able to share the Gospel and the love of Jesus Christ to every state she visited, the collaboration between different countries and departments, and the testimonials of family members being impacted by these medical device solutions around the world!

In her spare time, Raquel enjoys all things creative but particularly enjoys adventures and nature walks with her Golden Retriever and husband, retreats with the Lord, reading, watching sunrises with a cup of coffee, writing inspired worship songs, cooking & baking, creating something new, photography, serving at her church as a worship singer and women's group leader, calling out the gold God sees in people, camping and spending time with family, friends and strangers over soul food cooking!
