The logos below are provided for use in Wheaton College promotional material. Please see the Brand Guidelines for instructions on proper usage. If you are sending the logo to an outside vendor to create promotional material, such as brochures, emails, banners, or signage, please include the Brand Guidelines as a reference.
Do I need approval to use the Wheaton logo?
Yes. If you create any material for the College that includes the logo, the Marketing Communications department will need to approve its use. Be aware that the Wheaton College logo is a registered trademark and is not to be used for any purpose other than the promotion of Wheaton College. Violation of this policy could result in legal action.
Do I need an .EPS or a .JPG logo?
.EPS files are meant for use on print material. The quality of the image will never change, and the logo will always be crisp and clear. If you are working with an outside vendor to create print promotional material, this is the file type to send. The .EPS file also works well for creating shirts, pens, banners, mugs, etc.
.JPG files are meant for use on the web and in email communications. This file type can also be brought into Microsoft Word. If resizing the logo, remember to hold down the shift key to resize proportionally. Do not make the logo larger than its original size as this will cause the logo to become fuzzy.
