Vice President for Student Development
Dr. Paul Chelsen was appointed Wheaton’s Vice President for Student Development in January 2009. Prior to this appointment he had served for ten years in Wheaton’s Student Development division as the Director of Residence Life. Paul brings to his role a broad and deep understanding of residential student life at Wheaton College.
Prior to his work at Wheaton, Paul served in various Student Development roles at Ball State University, Coe College, North Central College, and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Paul is a 1991 graduate of Wheaton and received his M.A. in College Student Personnel Administration from Ball State University. He received his PhD from Loyola University of Chicago in Higher Education Administration.
