Professor of Psychology
Dr. Margaret DuPlissis Diddams ’83 is Wheaton's chief academic officer and second ranking administrator, reporting directly to the President.
She oversees the undergraduate and graduate programs of Wheaton College through the Dean of Arts, Music and Communication, the Dean of Humanities and Theological Studies, and the Dean of Natural and Social Sciences. She is also responsible for the Billy Graham Center, Global Programs and Studies, Institutional Research and Academic Support, and the Library and Archives. In addition to her role as a member of the Senior Administrative Cabinet, Diddams holds faculty status as Professor of Psychology.
Diddams is a 1983 graduate of Wheaton College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She earned a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from New York University in 1988, where she also completed a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology in 1994. She formerly taught at Columbia University and Seattle Pacific University and was a Senior Manager at Microsoft.
Margaret and her husband, Stan Diddams ’82, are the proud parents of four grown children.
