Wheaton College provides housing for a large percentagel of the student body. The following is a listing of the major on-campus housing facilities on the Wheaton campus. Smith-Traber Hall
Freshmen & Sophomores
Women & Men

Smith Hall features three floors of rooms configured as suites, which house 170 women. Built in 1961 and fully renovated in 1997, Smith is adjoined to Traber Hall by a large lobby.

Traber Hall provides room for 240 male residents in double and triple rooms on six floors. Built in 1970, it is Wheaton’s newest hall and is adjoined to Smith by a large lobby. Its rooms are situated around a central bath and floor lounge, which enhances the sense of community among residents. Traber was refurbished in 1997 and is equipped with two elevators. Fischer Hall
Freshmen & Sophomores
Women & Men

Fischer was built in 1965 and houses 570 students. This hall contains five floors, with gender-specific wings on each floor. Each wing is made up of double occupancy rooms and one triple occupancy room. All rooms are configured as suites (two rooms adjoined by a common bathroom). Evans-McManis Hall
Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors

Built in 1937 and 1945 respectively, McManis-Evans is conveniently located near the center of campus. It contains an elevator and is comprised of nine gender specific wings on five floors with single, double, triple, and quad rooms, which each vary in layout. Williston Hall
Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors
Women


Constructed in 1895, Williston is Wheaton’s oldest residence hall. This historic building houses 77 women on three floors in a variety of double and triple rooms, each with its own unique styling. This hall underwent full renovation in 1994, which restored its original charm and added the Ruth Bell Graham prayer room
