Billy Graham Center
The Billy
Graham Center is a perfect place to begin your online tour
of campus, located at the south edge of campus on College
Avenue. Dedication services and a crusade led by Billy Graham
marked its completion in 1980.
The Museum,
located on the first floor of the main section, houses interesting
displays on the history of evangelism, highlights of the Billy
Graham Evangelistic Association, and a graphic presentation
of the gospel.
On the
second floor is the Wheaton College Graduate School, also
the undergraduate department of Biblical and Theological Studies .
The
Special Collections' Evangelism and Missions Collection
on the third floor and the Billy Graham Center Archives
are devoted to the history of world missions and evangelism.
The Evangelism and Missions Collection is one of over
two hundred different collections in the college Archives
and Special Collections that range from the papers of
Malcolm Muggeridge and Frederick Buechner to memorabililia
highlighting the College's rich history.
The
500-seat Barrows Auditorium in the east wing is a popular
venue for conferences, recitals, lectures, and other
events.
The west
wing houses the College's Communication and Psychology departments
and the Advancement offices including Media Relations. In
the basement is the Media Resources Department, a full-production
facility for audio, video, and radio production, and home
of Wheaton College's radio station, WETN and cable station
CH72 WETN.
