Healthcare lawsuit Wheaton College first filed a lawsuit against the Department of Health and Human Services on July 18, 2012, in reaction to a mandate requiring most companies of over 50 employees to cover certain contraceptives in employee health insurance plans. The lawsuit, focused on drugs such as Plan B and Ella, which Wheaton called “abortion-causing” drugs, was dismissed on Aug. 24, 2012. After Graduation: This summer, I’ll be working at HoneyRock camp in the kitchens. After that, I’m looking into AmeriCorps programs and various internships at non-profits. I’m open to God’s promptings and know that he’ll put me where he wants me. Men’s Golf Team Makes Wheaton History
Thunder nationally ranked for first time ever.
When senior golfers Ryan Augustine, Ben Meyer, Jonny Tink and Ben Souders came in as freshmen in 2009, the Wheaton golf program had some success. The team finished fourth in the CCIW that year and placed in the top three in five different tournaments. But in their four years on the golf team, these seniors have led the Wheaton men’s golf program to new heights. More >
