Why All These Questions?
Managing a successful social media account requires a long-term investment to create and post quality content on a regular basis. It can sound like an exciting idea at first, but then quickly become overwhelming without a clear plan and dedicated team. And it’s not always the right strategy to meet your organization’s goals.
The following questions are designed to help you think through the purpose of your social media account and the processes you will use to maintain it. And they will provide MarComm with a record of key info so that we can provide you with resources and come alongside you in the event of any questions or problems with the account. We can't help if we don't know about your account.
Whether you’re starting a new account or have had an unregistered one already for a while, we suggest you review these questions as well as Wheaton’s social media guidelines carefully with any account managers and content creators on your team to ensure that everyone managing the account understands the goals and processes clearly.
