Jeffrey is Provost and the Distinguished Professor of Literature
and the Humanities at Baylor University. He received his
Ph.D. from Princeton University in 1968. He authored People
of the Book (William B. Eerdmans, 1996) and co-authored
with D. Manganiello Rethinking the Future of the University
(University of Ottawa Press, 1998).
