Solidarity is a student organization created a few years ago by students who saw a need for racial reconciliation on campus. We primarily focus on the racial temperature of the campus, not the happenings of Chicago, the 1960’s or any other place. This year our main focus is educating ourselves on structural racism and how it affects each of us daily. We believe that if we can understand the system and the way it works that we can begin to alter the system and be reconciled to each other.
