The Record has 3 sets of rates for advertising:

There is a 10 percent discount for all pre-paid advertisements.
The Record will only consider adjustment of payment regarding errors in advertisements if the Advertising Manager is notified.
Invoices with proof of publication are sent for individual ads after each insertion.
The Record reserves the right to revise terms and rates of advertising.
Submission
The deadline for submission of all advertising is Monday at noon, five days prior to publication. Advertising may be submitted in the following digital formats: .tiff, .jpeg, .psd or .pdf files to wheatonrecordgraphics@gmail.com. The Record requests all ads submitted via digital formats be black and white. Record editors will make every effort to correct any content errors brought to our attention at least three days prior to publication.
Placement
The Record does not guarantee specific page placement.
Content
All advertising content is subject to the approval of the Editor in Chief. The Record reserves the right to refuse any advertisement for any reason, to restrict illustrations or copies and to verify the legitimacy of any claim made in an advertisement.
The Record will not publish advertisements which unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, color, age, sex, national origin, ancestry or physical handicap. The Record will not publish advertisements which promote alcohol consumption, gambling, pornography, smoking or drug usage.
Ads that resemble editorial content will be labeled “Paid Advertisement.”
The advertiser assumes complete responsibility and liability for the content of advertisements placed in The Record. Advertisers must guarantee to indemnify the publication against all damages flowing from the ad.
