Professional and Personal Interests
Terri S.Watson, M.A.Program Coordinator, is a licensed clinical psychologist and approved supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Her clinical interests include child and family therapy, couples therapy, play therapy, clinical supervision, and women's issues. She maintains her clinical practice as Associates in Clinical Care and also provides clinical consultation for government and private organizations. Dr. Watson's research interests include gender issues, faith-praxis integration, couples therapy. She is actively involved in the Children and Worship program at her church and enjoys helping children discover the joys of worship through play. She has maintained a long-term interest in missions and seeks out cross- cultural applications of psychology. Dr. Watson is the mother of two children and enjoys sailing, scuba diving, running, and gardening.

Research

Dr. Watson completed her APA approved Internship at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Systems, and is an alumna of The Family Institute of Chicago. A licensed clinical psychologist and approved supervisor with The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, Dr. Watson specializes in clinical supervision, child and family therapy, and assessment/consultation with community organizations. She recently published a paper on gender issues in the integration of psychology and spirituality in The Journal of Psychology and Theology.
